The Campiello literary prize, which has been instituted in 1962 by the industrialists of Veneto region, with the aim of establishing a link between economy and culture, is one of the most important prizes in Italy. Every year a jury comprising men of letters and literary critics shortlists five novels, from which a popular jury formed by 300 people chooses the winner. The finalists of this year’s edition are: Mauro Corona with the book “La voce degli uomini freddi” (Mondadori), Giorgio Falco with “La gemella H” (Einaudi),  Giorgio Fontana with “Morte di un uomo felice” (Sellerio), Fausta Garavini with ”Le vite di Monsù Desiderio” (Bompiani), Michele Mari with “Roderick Duddle” (Einaudi).

The Consortium of Conegliano Valdobbiadene Prosecco Superiore Docg has chosen to support this event to enhance its commitment to the promotion of art and culture in all its forms.
