FREDERIC BARNIER AT LOUIS JADOT

Oenologist and agricultural engineer Frédéric Barnier, 34, recently joined Maison Louis Jadot, a recruitment made in preparation for the departure of Jacques Lardière, the emblematic winemaker who has been with the company since 1970 and is due to retire at the end of 2012. Frédéric Barnier joined the Château de Chassagne-Montrachet estate in 1999, where he undertook various duties before taking charge of the whole estate and its wine production in 2004.
