After four editions where the exhibition gained increasing scope and success, the great meeting for bulk wine professionals leaves the Elicium and moves to a new pavilion of Amsterdam’s RAI.

The 5th edition of the World Bulk Wine Exhibition will be held on the coming 25th  and 26th of November 2013.

After four years of consolidation and growth, and coinciding with the celebration of its 5th edition on the coming 25th and 26th of November, the Worldwide Bulk Wine Meeting will be held in a new pavilion.

This shift is mainly due to the ever increasing popularity of this event since its start in 2009, but also to the search for higher space versatility. As the Director of the event, Otilia Romero de Condés, has declared. “our main objective is that both exhibitors and buyers will feel as comfortable as possible and focused on what it is most important: to do business. That is why we searched for a bigger space inside the RAI, which would enable us to host all the different activities of the exhibition in the same hall”. Thus, the Silent Tasting Room, one of the main attractions of the event as it is important for buyers to have tasted the wines being presented, will once again share the same space as the winery stands. The areas reserved for business meetings will have a lot of importance as will the conference room, where professionals and experts will be able to debate on the major current topics of the sector. This edition’s conference cycle will be entitled: “Which wines do consumers prefer? A journey across the favorite varieties and wines of consumer countries”.

Three months before the 5th edition of the global bulk wine meeting, the organization confirms forecasts that it will reach its maximal hosting capacity. “We did not expect to grow that much In so little time, but the fact that we are an international event specialized in great volumes of quality wine has encouraged wineries from all over the world to participate in a project every year that allows them to display their products during only two days to a great deal of international buyers” explained Romero de Condés.

The World Bulk Wine Exhibition will move from the Rai Elicium to Hall 2 of Amsterdam’s RAI, a change destined to be able to receive the large number of candidate wineries from countries such as Spain, France. Italy, Argentina, Chile, Australia, the United States and many others.

WORLD BULK WINE EXHIBITION

During the 2012 edition the World Bulk Wine Exhibition brought together 130 producing companies from 11 different countries and, for two days only, they had the possibility of presenting their products to more than a thousand purchasers and 4000 visitors who came from more than 60 different countries. In short: an acquisition capacity of nearly 20 million hectoliters. The World Bulk Wine Exhibition is considered an exclusive place to display and discover the best bulk wines in the world just after the end of the harvest.
