Around 220 exhibitors from 21 countries are expected on November 24/25 in the Amsterdam RAI

The success story of the World Bulk Wine Exhibition (WBWE) as the greatest global platform for the trading with bulk wine continues: One month prior to the sixth edition of the event, which is taking place on November 24 / 25th in the Amsterdam RAI exhibition center, e record number of 220 exhibitors from 21 countries has already booked its space at the exhibition – this is an increase of 25 percent over the previous year. The organizer Pomona Keepers S. L. from Ciudad Real (Spain) expects more than 6,000 visitors from around the world during the two-day event.

WBWE is the only event at which buyers from all continents can offer access to a total volume of about 30 million hectoliters at all price and quality levels. In addition to the great wine producing countries of Spain, Italy and France also the overseas nations like South Africa, Argentina, Chile, USA, Australia and for the first time New Zealand are well represented this year in Amsterdam. The producers from Eastern Europe have also recognized the value of WBWE as a global forum for open wines: On November 24th / 25th several large producers from Macedonia, about a dozen wineries from Moldova as well as wine makers from Romania and the Ukraine will be present at the exhibition.

The extensive program of WBWE includes several seminars that demonstrate the latest trends on the world market and in consumer countries. Some of this year’s highlights are: a “Silent Tasting Zone”, a World-Bulk-Wine Competition with an international jury on November 23th, a “Little-Treasures Selection”, cooking demonstrations with the Galician Chef Francisco Piñeiro, a separate exhibition space with products around the vine (“the Vine”) and the awarding of the prize “Voice of Wine” 2014, which this year goes to “Wines of South Africa” for its successful marketing of bag-in box wines on goes.

In order to save queuing at the ticket office, the organizer recommends that all trade visitors and buyers pre-register online. At www.worldbulkwine.com there is detailed information about registration, directions, the exhibition program and accommodation in Amsterdam.
