Star Wine List has announced the ultimate ranking for wine producers: the Star Wine List Top 100. It shows the 100 wine producers that are the most listed in the Star Wine List universe of 2700 top wine lists around the world. Star Wine List is also launching a Pro membership – which allows wine professionals search those wine lists.

Star Wine List is the guide to great wine bars and wine restaurants, all selected by wine professionals. The popular guide has grown to cover 40 countries on all continents – and now has more than 2700 wine lists that users can check out on the app and on the website before going out.

At the Wine Paris & Vinexpo Paris conference in February, Star Wine List’s founder and publisher Krister Bengtsson presented the ultimate top list for wineries – the 100 producers that are available on the highest number of wine lists.

“It should perhaps not be a surprise that the top three are all well-known brands from Champagne. The region has for a very long time been a leader in not only producing great wines, but to promote and distribute them around the world. But it is interesting to see grower champagnes on the list – as well as smaller artisanal producers that have a strong followers among sommeliers. And at the very last spot is a pioneer in the natural wine movement,” said Krister Bengtsson.Read the full story and see the Star Wine List Top 100 here

Star Wine List Pro – search thousands of wine lists

Star Wine List is also launching a professional wine list search – Star Wine List Pro. With Pro, producers and importers can search more thousands wine lists in 40 countries around the world.

“With Star Wine List Pro, we enable producers to see where their own wines are featured on wine lists, or their competitors; we give importers a way to learn more about their own market and we offer others in the trade the possibility to get intelligence on wines and pricing,” said Krister Bengtsson, founder and publisher of Star Wine List.

Star Wine List’s guides cover 40 countries around the world and was started in Stockholm in 2017. Major players in the world of wines are partnering with Star Wine List for both communications and analysis, such as Nyetimber, Familia Torres and the Austrian Wine Marketing Board. For VDP, Star Wine List has helped analyse the presence of wines from Erste Lage and Grosse Lage vineyards in top wine lists.

“We know that Star Wine List has become a reference for many producers and other actors in the trade when it comes to finding great places to drink, and sell, their wines. With Star Wine List Pro – that work is becoming even more efficient,” said Krister Bengtsson.

Users can choose to focus on only one market with Pro – or search globally. There is also a free test to try it out – sign up on https://starwinelist.com/pro
