On Saturday 20 July, the Saint-Emilion Jurade inducted three jazz celebrities on stage in the Palais Cardinal moat.

Before the inductions were carried out, jazz pianist Jacky Terrasson played the Saint-Emilion Jurade’s new anthem at the piano.

Nearly 30 Jurats wearing the amazing Saint-Emilion Jazz Festival’s pink glasses were on stage to honour:

Vincent Anglade, Programme Advisor for jazz and present music at the Paris Cité de la Musique and Salle Pleyel, and founder of the “Days Off” pop-rock festival

Peter Polansky, Programme Director and Press & Marketing Manager of “Jazz im Konzerthaus” in Vienna

Joan Anton Cararach, classical, opera and jazz music critic, cultural journalist, author and programme director of the longest music event in Europe, the Barcelona Jazz Festival.
